New Spec Interiors was entrusted with the complete office refurbishment of O-I’s office space, delivering a full transformation that enhanced both functionality and aesthetic appeal. Our team undertook a comprehensive scope of work, including the installation of a modern tea point, high-end office furniture, grid ceiling systems, and extensive decoration works. In addition, we revitalised the company’s filing room with new racking systems and a fresh redecoration, optimising storage and workspace efficiency. A key element of this project also included the full refurbishment of O-I’s restroom facilities, where we overhauled the existing space to introduce contemporary, functional design elements that aligned with the company’s standards.

Tea Point and Furniture

One of the highlights of this project was the creation of a new, high-end tea point and the installation of premium office furniture, transforming the office’s break and collaborative spaces.

Tea Point Design and Installation:
The tea point area was designed to not only provide a functional space for staff to relax and recharge but also to serve as a visually appealing feature in the office. New Spec Interiors installed a bespoke tea point, incorporating modern appliances, ample counter space and sleek cabinetry, which was crafted to reflect the company’s professional image. The design focused on creating a welcoming and practical environment, with easy access to essential amenities while maintaining an elegant and contemporary look.
High-End Office Furniture:
New Spec Interiors supplied and installed top-of-the-line office furniture, ensuring that both style and functionality were at the forefront of the design. The furniture was selected with ergonomic design in mind, prioritising comfort and productivity for the team. This included custom desks, storage units, ergonomic chairs, and meeting room furniture, all chosen to enhance the office’s aesthetic while providing practicality and durability for everyday use. The furniture was installed seamlessly, enhancing the overall atmosphere and ensuring that the office environment was not only comfortable but visually appealing.

Restroom Refurbishment

The full restroom refurbishment was a crucial aspect of this project, where New Spec Interiors removed all existing fixtures and fittings, and introduced a completely new design that would enhance the user experience and reflect O-I’s standards of quality.

Complete Strip-Out and Demolition:
The existing restroom was stripped back to its core, with all outdated fixtures and fittings removed to make way for the new installation. This included the removal of old cubicles, flooring, wall coverings and any other existing features that no longer met the company’s needs or design expectations.
Installation of New Cubicles:
New Spec Interiors installed two high-quality cubicles designed for durability, privacy, and ease of use. The cubicles were made with robust, moisture-resistant materials, ensuring long-term functionality even in a high-traffic, high-moisture environment. The design also incorporated modern finishes that complemented the overall aesthetic of the office’s restroom, creating a clean, sleek look.
LVT Flooring:
For the flooring, we chose luxury vinyl tiles (LVT), a highly durable and low-maintenance solution that is perfect for high-use areas such as restrooms. The LVT flooring not only offered practical benefits, such as resistance to moisture and easy cleaning, but also contributed to the overall modern and polished look of the space. The flooring was installed with precision, ensuring a seamless finish that added to the overall functionality and aesthetic of the restroom.
Decorative Acqua Panels:
To complete the transformation of the restroom, we lined the walls with decorative acqua panels, which brought a modern and fresh design element to the space. These panels were not only visually striking but also offered the durability and water resistance needed for a restroom environment. The distinctive design of the panels added texture and depth to the space, enhancing its overall appearance while maintaining a contemporary, professional look.
